We will lead Sheffield Walkers through the beautiful Gillifield Woods, past Woodthorpe Hall and Storth House, crossing the main Baslow Road onto Blacka Moor returning to the start point.

This walk will be approximately 7 miles. The walk starts from Skelmanthorpe and climb steadily until we reach Emley Moor mast. We then proceed to Emley village itself before our return to Skelmanthorpe. We pass over and under the narrow gauge Kirkless Light Railway which runs steam trains at the weekend. The walk has several viewpoints with 360 degree views.
