Wortley to Wharncliffe Crags

Places remaining: 20
Route Description
An evening stroll from opposite the church in Wortley, through farmland and woodland and onto Wharncliffe Crags. If the weather is good, there are fine views towards Deepcar and beyond.
From Wortley, we head towards the rugby pitches on Finkle Street, crossing the road and then heading across farm tracks towards the crags. Wooded paths open out onto rocky crags, offering fine views. We then drop back into the woods, heading towards the old railway line for a short section before passing through the equestrian centre and back to the start.
