Woodhouse Washlands and Treeton Dyke

Places remaining: 9
Route Description
The Group walk takes us to 2 areas of Natural beauty, Woodhouse Washlands Nature Reserve and Treeton Dyke. Both are home to birds, plants and wild flowers.
Meeting at 10 am for 10.15 am start.
The walk includes a little pavement walking and well formed paths. There are two busy roads but both have pedestrian crossings. There are tree roots and tree branches to be aware of. The walk will commence at the Elmwood Farm Car Park and follow the path through the Washlands. On reaching the Dyke the route will cover one side of the water skirting Treeton Woods. We will retrace our steps back along the same paths to the optional debrief at Elmwood.
