Pateley Bridge coach trip

Places remaining: 47
Route Description
Our second coach trip this year will take us to the small town of Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire. We will be offering a ‘Saturday’ walk, but this will be done in 2 groups: one group will walk at a slower pace, to avoid queues building up at stiles.
Starting from the centre of Pateley Bridge, we head to the banks of the River Nidd and the Nidderdale Way. We will follow this path for 1.5 miles, before crossing a road to a stile. From here, we rise steeply across farmland until we reach a lane.
We now descend through fields to re-join the Nidderdale Way, a wide path which passes through a pretty caravan site. A path leads down towards a quarry with another steep incline back up and along the Nidderdale Way, back into Pateley Bridge.
Other Information
We will meet outside the library in Chapeltown as usual at 8.15am for an 8.30am departure.
For the return journey, we will meet in the coach park in Pateley Bridge at 5.45 for a 6.00pm departure.
The cost of this trip is £18.50 and is open to all members, family and friends.
