Loxley and Rivelin Valley round walk.

Places remaining: 18
Route Description
Walking along two of Sheffields river tributary valleys, with lots of old industrial history with a hill between.
From that start we carefully cross the busy Malin Bridge junction and head up Loxley road, turning then onto the footpath up the valley. We follow the path then up at the side of the river Loxley crossing over Rowell Lane and continuing on until we reach the old brickworks and Loxley fishery where we then take a left turn and a steady climb up towards Stores via a few styles and onto Stannington village.
Which will be a convenient place to stop for lunch.
Following lunch we cross over the village and look to take the paths down through the fields to Rivelin valley.
Taking the paths then down and adjacent to the river Rivelin back to the start point.
Followed by a drink at the Malin Bridge Inn for those who might want to partake.
