Dronfield Rotary Walk

Route Description

This walk is also known as the Dronfield Millenium walk. The walk is a mixture of woodland and open field paths with a little road walking. The views keep giving on this walk. We will take our time to admire the views and have a couple of drink stops in addition to lunch. I estimate that this walk will take around 8 hours.

This is an undulating walk. At the time of the recee the underfoot conditions were very good. There are several stiles on the walk some are quite high others have seen better days. All the stiles are manageable with a little care.
The walk starts from Coal Aston and we will go clockwise on the walk. The route takes us through Troway, Unstone, Holmesfield and Mickley.
A Fitbit device had the distance of this walk as 16 miles.
