Calton Lees to Rowsley

Places remaining: 13
Route Description
Chatsworth Park is always a pleasure any time of year, and hopefully we’ll get to see wild deer.
Starting across parkland, which is approx. one mile of steady uphill, to reach a short stretch of woodland. Our path then opens out onto Calton Pastures then entering Manners Wood with intermittent views through the trees towards Bakewell. We follow paths and tracks, for quite a while, then descend to Rowsley. A brief refreshment stop will be in the churchyard of St. Catherine’s, and from there we take the track back into Calton Lees.
