Combining the gritstone drama of Stanage Edge, the open moorland of Derwent Edge and magnificent views over Ladybower and the Hope Valley, this is an outstanding circular walk showcasing some of the finest scenery in the Dark Peak.

The Wednesday Walkers Christmas lunch has been booked for 12.30pm on Wednesday 9th December at the Commercial, Station Road, Chapeltown. I think it’s fair to say that the food and service we receive is always excellent, so whilst the date is a week earlier than originally planned, we would struggle to find a better venue.
Obviously it isn’t a FREE event as the heading suggests!!

A six mile walk in the Upper Stannington area ( route etc TBA shortly) Start time will be approximately 11.00.
The walk is to be followed by a Hot Roast Pork or Beef Sandwich c/w a small Yorkshire Pudding Gravy and Chips.
Vegetarian/ Vegan option available.
