Route Description

An interesting mix of open fields, rocky outcrops and woodland walking, with the odd stone circle and ancient hill fort thrown in for good measure.

Starting from the George Hotel in Youlgreave we make our way through the village before dropping down to Bradford Dale and following the river towards Middleton. After leaving the woods we continue across fields to Lowfields Farm and then onto Robin Hoods Stride where we will break for lunch. After lunch we briefly pick up the Limestone Way before turning off towards Bleakley plantation and returning to the River Bradford to finish our walk back to Youlgreave.
