Wharncliffe Chase

Route Description
A short but lovely walk through wharncliffe woods to open countryside known as Wharncliffe Chase.
A fairly easy route but has a 1/4 mile uphill finish to the car park. Good paths throughout, one over the wall ladder stile which we will encounter on our way out and back and one further stile. Starting point is from Greno carpark, on Woodhead road on the left about 1/2 mile after the Top Red Lion where we will return for refreshments after the walk, if so inclined.
