Route Description
An excellent walk for a November morning.
From Fox House we go through the Longshaw Estate to Padley Gorge. Having descended Padley Gorge to Nether Padley, we turn up to Greenwood Farm along the Padley Gorge trail. Leaving the trail we cross Little Moor and then drop to Surprise View car park, cross the B6157 and ascend back to Fox House.
Hazards include uneven surfaces in Padley Gorge, a fairly steep ascent of Little Moor and road crossings.
Other Information
Parking at Fox House or Longshaw car park. Walking poles recommended.
