Grassington is a picturesque, bustling village in the Yorkshire Dales National Park (Wharfedale), characterized by its stone cottages, cobbled main street, and independent shops. Famous as the filming location for “All Creatures Great and Small” (Darrowby), it offers easy access to hiking, Linton Falls, and the Grassington Festival in June.

Scags and I can do a 6 mile moderate walk starting from the main car park in Grassington. It’s a lovely walk from the village onto the limestone moors and back through woodland and along the River Wharfe. It would be suitable for the Friday afternoon, or as a short moderate walk on the Sunday.
I am happy to lead a walk on any day if needed

Tom and I are are staying Friday to Monday at Farfield 0.7 miles ftom Grassington. I will probably going to Settle with Flossie on Wednesday.
Flossie is attending the weekend and staying in her caravan near Settle.
