Route Description
A circular route from the quiet village of Elton to Bradford Dale and back via Robin Hood’s Stride
From Elton, we head north across fields to the southern end of Bradford Dale. We walk along the river joining the Limestone Way past the village of Youlgreave and then return to Elton via Spring Wood, Robin Hood’s Stride and the Hermit’s Cave.

Free on-street parking in Elton Village. Please park considerately.
Debrief at the Old Bowling Green pub, East Bank, Winster. Follow the road east from Elton and it takes you straight into Winster.
