Bamford Edge and Stanage Edge

Places remaining: 18
Route Description
This walk offers stunning scenery throughout, with the view across to Ladybower from Bamford Edge being an iconic Peak District view.
Starting from Dennis Knoll car park, we follow quiet lanes before the steep ascent onto Bamford Edge. We follow the edge until Ladybower Bridge comes into view, then gradually descend across Bamford Moor onto Moscar Moor. A steady climb leads us to Stanage Edge and this is where we will break for lunch.
Then we follow Stanage Edge until we meet Long Causeway, a wide track which descends back to the starting point.
Other Information
Meet at Dennis Knoll car park, Long Causeway – £5.50 for 4 hours. Car-sharing advised where possible. No toilets en route.
