Ashford Circular via Bakewell

Places remaining: 13

Route Description

Easy, flat walk including a far bit of tarmac and just a bit of mud. So good after a wet winter.

Leaving Ashford in the Water, we follow the valley for a mile or so until reaching the Monsal Trail. After a coffee stop at Hassop Station, we complete the Monsal Trail and make our way to Bakewell and lunch on the waterside. Post lunch sees us leave Bakewell and follow the river back to Ashford in the Water.

  1. Hello
I’ve just joined your group and am looking forward to walking with you all on Saturday if possible. I don’t have a car and so I am wondering if anyone could offer a lift from Sheffield? I am based in Crookes and can cycle to neighboring of Sheffield easily.
    My number is 07594 235815
    Many thanks Colette
