We are an independent group based in Sheffield who enjoy walking for pleasure and for health. We run a varied programme across the Peak District and beyond that ranges from short leisure walks to multi day walking events.
Walks on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from three to 12 miles, plus socials, coach trips and weekends away.
The Group walk takes us to the former site of Tinsley Park Colliery. The area is cared for by the Woodland Trust and is a mixture of woodland and gravel paths. The views of Sheffield and the surrounding areas are amazing on a clear day.
Meeting at Winter Green Pub , Mitchell Way, Catcliffe, Rotherham S60 8AR 10am for 10.15 am start.
A relatively easy but beautiful walk from Cote Green Equestrian centre car park, Finkle Street Lane, S35 7DH (home to the Wagyu burger bar and farm shop).
Meet at 10.15am for a 10.30am start.
Combining peaceful limestone dales, open countryside, railway heritage, riverside woodland and the iconic Chee Dale stepping stones, this is an outstanding White Peak circular walk with plenty of scenery and interest throughout.
