SUMMARY:Pateley Bridge coach trip
DESCRIPTION:Route Description\nOur second coach trip this year will take us to the small town of Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire. We will be offering a ‘Saturday’ walk\, but this will be done in 2 groups: one group will walk at a slower pace\, to avoid queues building up at stiles. \nStarting from the centre of Pateley Bridge\, we head to the banks of the River Nidd and the Nidderdale Way. We will follow this path for 1.5 miles\, before crossing a road to a stile. From here\, we rise steeply across farmland until we reach a lane.\nWe now descend through fields to re-join the Nidderdale Way\, a wide path which passes through a pretty caravan site. A path leads down towards a quarry with another steep incline back up and along the Nidderdale Way\, back into Pateley Bridge. \n\n\nDirections\nDirections in Google MapsDirections in Apple Maps \n\n\nOther Information\nWe will meet outside the library in Chapeltown as usual at 8.15am for an 8.30am departure. \nFor the return journey\, we will meet in the coach park in Pateley Bridge at 5.45 for a 6.00pm departure. \nThe cost of this trip is £18.50 and is open to all members\, family and friends. \n1) Reserve your place using the RSVP below.\n2) Pay for your seat(s) by bank transfer: \nSheffield Walkers\nSort Code: 30-91-91\nAccount Number: 36022968\nReference: Pateley Bridge [insert your name] \nDi and Kate will be leading 2 groups and stopping for a picnic/snacks enroute. \nThere will be free time at the end of the walk to explore the small town’s high street with shops\, cafes and pubs. \n(The old-fashioned sweet shop comes highly recommended!!) \nRoute Website: Open external route page

SUMMARY:Ecclesfield Circular
DESCRIPTION:Route Description\nA Circular walk through the surrounding beautiful countryside of Ecclesfield. \nThis walk starts from the Car Park on the common and then into Ecclesfield park and through the church grounds. With some uphill walking and stiles we navigate the surrounding scenic countryside of cornfields\, woods and a little road walking back to our starting location. For those wishing to partake in refreshments and sociability at the end of the walk\, the Travellers Inn is a short stroll away. \n\n\nDirections\nDirections in Google MapsDirections in Apple Maps \n\n\nOther Information\nThe free car park is located opposite Morrisons.\nThis route is a little overgrown in places so I suggest wearing long trousers to prevent bramble scratches and nettle stings.
