Route Description
A walk which takes us through he agricultural landscape of South Yorkshire. Meeting at Wellthorne lane, Ingbirchworth outside the Fountain Pub. Please arrive by 9:45 for a 10 o’clock start.
This walk takes us past Ingbirchworth Reservoir along the lanes and tracks of Whitley Common, with a gentle climb up past the infamous ‘Jamaica Inn’ and over to Royd Moor Hill before descending into Millhouse Green. The last leg of the walk takes us back over the agricultural landscape and then on to Royd Moor Reservoir, before finally returning to Ingbirchworth.
