A meeting for all Members to socialise, learn, discuss ideas for walks, activities and any other general business.
Agenda
1) Welcome
2) Guest Speakers: Sarah and Alex from Foothills, Sheffield. The Great Outdoor Awards Independent Retailer of the Year 2025
Sarah and Alex will share their insights on what to wear on a day out walking, including the latest trends and technologies to promote environmental sustainability. They may bring some samples too.
3) Staying Safe: how to manage risk when taking members, friends and family out for a walk on the hills
Forid Meah will share a framework for identifying and managing risks.
4) Walk Programme Ideas – all members to suggest walks for the coming period
5) AOB
The meeting will take place in the community room at the Abbey Pub on Chesterfield Road, Sheffield.
In response to previous feedback, all members are politely asked to purchase their own drinks.
