Route Description

Ashford in the Water up to Sheldon and Magpie mine, back down Deepdale.

From Ashford in the Water we cross over the main A6 and up through the woods to Sheldon, this is quite a steep path. FromSheldon we agin climb up through the fields to the Magpie mine, taking the path through and across to Horse lane. Taking a short walk along the road before turning down Wheal lane. The path then takes a turn down Deepdale with some stunning views at the bottom of Deepdale we turn right and take the path back along the river Wye to Ashford in the Water.
