Route Description
This guided group walk explores the Longshaw Estate and Hathersage Moors in the Peak District.
This guided group walk from Sheffield Walkers explores the paths on the Longshaw Estate and Hathersage Moors. The route is a 8.3 mile circular walk with around 1206 ft in total ascent which we’ll take at a steady pace. Starting from the main Woodcroft car park at Longshaw, the walk will pass Owler Tor onto Hathersage Moor with views of Carl Wark and Higger Tor before dropping into Hathersage. The return leg follows the Derwent Valley Heritage Way back to Grindleford and then through Sheffield Plantation.

Meet in the Woodcroft Car Park.
Parking at the Woodcroft Car Park is free to National Trust Members or around £8 for the day. Alternative free “off street” parking is available on Hathersage Road by the Fox House but can get very busy.
