Concord Park and Woolley Wood

Route Description
The walk takes in park and woodland plus part of the Trans Pennine Trail. It is a mix of tarmac, grass and woodland paths plus some road walking. There is one gradient on our ascent from the wood but it is very gradual. The Optional Debrief will be in the Concord Golf Club.
The walk will start from the Meeting Point in the car park of Concord Sports Centre S5 6AE. We will follow the path through the park to reach the golf course where we will make a gentle descent in to the wood using formed paths. We will join the Trans Pennine Trail after crossing a busy road where care needs to be taken. After leaving the Trail we will follow the path through the wood and return to the starting point via the golf course and park path.
