Route Description

From the Crown and Cushion we follow paths, fields and woods to the cricket ground. Returning to the Crown and Cushion via different paths, fields and woods.

From the Crown and Cushion we follow the Burncross road passing the Acorn. Continuing to the woods which lead us to the A61. Follow Hallwood road and enter the woods
to reach Penistone road. Then down green lane to cross over fields to reach the Hamlet of Woodend. Crossing over Whitley lane on to Cinder Hill, and down to the cricket club. Follow paths to Whitley lane to Peggy lane back onto Penistone road and onto Woodseats. We then cross Elliot lane onto the cow field then through Foxhill Spring wood onto Chapel road back to the Crown and Cushion.
