9:15AM Bamford to Whirlow Bus Walk

Route Description
9:15 START £3 or bus pass required.
LInear walk meeting at Whirlow Park Gates. 9:22am bus to Bamford station.
From Bamford, pass the station and up the lane. Across Sickleholme golf course (heads down) onto the lane to Nether Hurst. Continue East and around Birley Farm then downhill to pass above Hathersage church. Continue East steadily up Callow Bank to Burbage Bridge. Taking the high path along the top of Burbage Rocks until a branch left across to Ox Stones (may be boggy). The track continues into Lady Channing Plantation and out onto Houndkirk Road. Turn left and start down the well trodden Limb Valley back to Whirlow.

Parking SK31050 82637 at Whirlow Park gates crescent road. 272 bus to Bamford at 9:22. Fare £3 or bus pass. If the bus fails to arrive then plan B will be a walk from Whirlow.
